Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is conveniently located right on top of the main pedestrianized street, within a short walk to the center of the city. The rooms, although lacking a window, were clean and comfortable, despite feeling a bit damp - a common occurrence in Costa Rica. The dining options were limited but satisfactory, and the overall value for money was decent considering the central downtown location.
The hotel felt very private and quiet without windows, despite occasional shaking when a lorry passed by. The dampness in the rooms was noticeable, similar to our experiences in Costa Rica. The street noise outside was greatly reduced due to the lack of windows.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equipped but suffered from noise due to a loud disco nearby on weekends. The location was convenient for accessing bus stations and downtown attractions, but the presence of a busy street outside meant choosing between natural light and peace and quiet.
